Welcome to Solar Guard Cameras. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Solar Guard Cameras website (the "Site") and the purchase of products and services from Solar Guard Cameras, a DBA of Comwire Services, LLC ("Solar Guard Cameras," "we," "us," or "our").
By accessing or using our Site, creating an account, or making a purchase, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Site or purchase our products.
1. Eligibility and Account Registration
Age Requirement
You must be at least 18 years old to use our Site or make purchases. By using our Site, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age.
Account Creation
To access certain features of our Site, you may need to create an account. When creating an account, you agree to:
Provide accurate, current, and complete information
Maintain and promptly update your account information
Maintain the security and confidentiality of your login credentials
Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.
2. Use of Services

You may use our Site and services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Site or any other systems or networks
Use any robot, spider, or other automatic device to access the Site for any purpose
Introduce any viruses, trojan horses, worms, or other material that is malicious or harmful
Use the Site to advertise or offer to sell goods and services without our prior written consent
Intellectual Property
The Site and its entire contents, features, and functionality are owned by Solar Guard Cameras, its licensors, or other providers of such material and are protected by U.S. and international intellectual property laws.
3. Product Information and Pricing
Product Descriptions
We strive to provide accurate product descriptions and specifications. However, we do not warrant that product descriptions, images, or other content on the Site are accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free. If a product is not as described, your sole remedy is to return it unused in accordance with our return policy.
Pricing and Availability
All prices are in U.S. dollars and subject to change without notice. We may modify or discontinue products at any time without notice and are not liable for any resulting impact.
Errors
We reserve the right to correct any errors or inaccuracies and to change or cancel orders at any time if any information on the Site is inaccurate.
4. Orders and Payment
Order Acceptance
An order confirmation does not signify our acceptance. We may accept or decline your order at our discretion.
Payment
We accept payments via Square, Inc. including credit cards, debit cards, and gift cards. By submitting payment information, you confirm:
You are authorized to use the provided payment method
Information is accurate and complete
You will pay all charges incurred at the stated prices
Sales Tax
Applicable sales tax is calculated and added based on your shipping address.
5. Shipping and Delivery
Shipping costs and times are shown at checkout. Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to the carrier. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers or external factors.
6. Returns and Refunds
We offer a 21-day return window from delivery. To be eligible:
Product must be unused and in like-new condition
All original packaging and contents must be included
No activation or account registration
Refunds issued after inspection
Shipping costs are non-refundable
Return shipping is your responsibility unless Solar Guard is at fault
7. Product Warranties
Limited Warranty
Covers defects in materials and workmanship for one year from delivery.
Not Covered:
Physical damage, mishandling
Weather exposure (unless rated)
Power surges or lightning
Tampering or unauthorized repairs
Use with non-approved accessories
Water damage beyond the environmental rating
Warranty Claims
Contact support to initiate a claim. Secure packaging is required. If covered, we will repair or replace. If not, a discounted replacement may be offered.
Disclaimer of Warranties
Except as outlined above, all products and services are provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim all implied warranties including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
8. Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for missed alerts, outages, or lost recordings. Use an SD card for local backup. Liability is limited to one month of service fees. No punitive or indirect damages.
9. Indemnification
You agree to defend and indemnify Solar Guard Cameras from any claims arising from your use of the Site or violation of these Terms.
10. Cellular Data Plans and Billing
Available Plans:
2 GB, 3 GB, 5 GB, 10 GB, 25 GB
Billing Cycle:
Data plans begin on the activation date with a prorated charge
Recurring invoices are sent on the 11th of each month and due by 11:59 PM on the 17th
Customers can enable autopay via invoice
Additional subscriptions are added to the existing invoice
Cancellations:
Customers may cancel at any time by emailing us
Cancellations must be received before the 11th to avoid being billed for the next cycle
No partial refunds are issued
Late Fees:
A 20% late fee (minimum $5) applies after 5 days of non-payment
Service remains suspended until full payment, including fees, is received
Data Usage and SIM Policy:
Service pauses once the monthly data limit is reached
SIM cards remain Solar Guard property and must remain in assigned devices
Replacement fees apply for lost or misused SIMs
Service is for U.S. use only
11. Privacy
Use of the Site and services is governed by our Privacy Policy.
12. Dispute Resolution
Governing Law: Texas law applies. Disputes must be resolved in Rusk County, TX.
Arbitration: Binding arbitration in Rusk County, Texas, per AAA Commercial Rules.
Class Action Waiver: Disputes must be settled individually.
13. Modifications to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site implies acceptance.
14. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account for any reason, including violation of these Terms.
15. Severability
If any part of these Terms is found invalid, the rest remain enforceable. These Terms are the full agreement between you and Solar Guard Cameras.
